Siddhivinayak Advanced Computing Labs (SVACL) is a specialist GPU and parallel-computing performance practice based in Pune, India, serving clients worldwide. We exist for one reason: to close the gap between what modern hardware can do and what most code actually does with it.

Dr. Mandar Gurav — Founder & Principal Engineer
I’ve spent more than 16 years doing one thing: making computational code run faster on parallel hardware. I hold a PhD from IIT Bombay, I worked with Intel and NVIDIA before founding the SVACL. Over that time I’ve worked across the full parallel-computing stack — CUDA, OpenMP, MPI, SYCL, OpenACC, and hybrid models — on the kind of compute-bound scientific and engineering code where performance actually matters.
I’ve trained engineers and researchers at some of India’s most demanding technical institutions and companies — including IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, C-DAC, Sony India, and several NITs — and I work hands-on with current hardware and toolkits, including a Blackwell-generation GPU test environment on recent CUDA releases. I stay current because GPU performance work punishes anyone who doesn’t.

How we work — the Performance Detective method
Most performance “optimization” is guesswork: someone rewrites the code that looks slowest and hopes it helps. That approach wastes time and often makes things worse.
We work like a detective instead. Measure, locate, prove. We profile the real workload to see where time and memory actually go, we identify the true bottleneck with hard data, and we prove every fix with before-and-after benchmarks validated against your reference output. You never have to take “it’s faster now” on faith — you get the number.
